Face Masks
A face mask is the slowest, kindest ten minutes in this whole site. Everything here is mixed from things you already keep — honey, oats, yoghurt, clay, a mashed spoon of fruit — spread on clean skin, left to sit while the kettle boils, and rinsed away. Nothing in this category is a treatment.
A mask will not clear acne, fade a mark or change your skin type; what it can do is leave skin feeling softer, calmer and a little more awake for the evening, and give you a small ritual that is properly yours. We sort them by how the skin feels afterwards rather than by promise: the honey and oat masks are for tightness and dryness, the clay ones for a shiny T-zone, the yoghurt and fruit ones for a quick freshen-up before going out. Every recipe lists a patch test, a shelf life measured in days, not weeks, and an honest line on what it will not do. Start with one, keep it on for the time stated, and rinse sooner if anything stings.
