Beauty made by hand, with heart

Last updated: 25 July 2026

PrincessGlow is a small independent publication about homemade, kitchen-made beauty rituals — face masks, hair rinses, bath soaks and the gentle ceremony of taking ten minutes for yourself.

What we believe

We believe self-care shouldn't require a chemistry degree or a luxury budget. Most of our recipes use fewer than five ingredients you can pronounce — honey, oats, rose water, yogurt — and take less time than brewing tea.

We also believe in honesty over hype. Homemade cosmetics can feel wonderful, but they are not medicine and they don't perform miracles. We write what a recipe really does — softens, refreshes, polishes, comforts — and we say clearly what it can't do.

Who is behind PrincessGlow

PrincessGlow is produced by a small editorial team rather than a single named author. We are recipe curators and careful writers, not dermatologists, doctors or cosmetic chemists — and we never claim to be. Where health is involved, we say the same thing every time: patch-test, be gentle, and see a professional for anything beyond simple cosmetic care. You can read exactly how we work in our editorial policy.
