Privacy Policy

PrincessGlow ("we", "our") operates princessglow.org. This policy explains what information we collect and how we use it — the honest answer is: very little.

Information we collect

We do not require accounts, we do not collect payment information, and we run no third-party advertising or tracking scripts. Our hosting provider automatically logs standard technical data (IP address, browser type, pages visited) for security and performance; we see this only in aggregate. If that ever changes — for example if we introduce advertising or clearly labelled affiliate links — this policy will be updated before those features go live.

Our newsletter is not yet live. The sign-up form on this site is currently disabled and does not collect or store email addresses. When the newsletter launches, this policy will be updated first, and sign-ups will use a double opt-in (you confirm by email before being added), with an unsubscribe link in every message. Your email would be used only to send the newsletter — never sold, rented or shared.

Favourites on this device

If you tap the heart on a recipe, that preference is saved in your own browser's local storage on your device. It never leaves your browser and we cannot see it. Clearing your browser data removes it.

Cookies & advertising

We currently set no cookies and display no third-party advertising, so there are no advertising cookies on this site. If we introduce advertising (for example Google AdSense) in the future, we will update this policy and, where required by law, ask for your consent through a consent banner before any non-essential cookies are set. The consent tool is already built into the site but stays completely switched off while no advertising or analytics is configured, so today it shows nothing and loads nothing. On the day either is switched on, a banner will appear before any non-essential cookie is set, and a Privacy choices link in the footer will let you change your answer at any time.

Analytics

We do not currently run Google Analytics or any other visitor-tracking service. Our web host keeps ordinary server logs — the kind every website has — which record things like the page requested, the time, and a truncated network address. We use those only to keep the site working and to spot abuse, and we do not combine them with anything else or use them to build a profile of you. If we ever add an analytics service, it will sit behind the same consent banner described above and this page will say so plainly before it goes live.

Fonts

Pages load the Cormorant Garamond, Jost and Pinyon Script typefaces from Google Fonts. Your browser requests these files from Google's servers, which involves transmitting your IP address to Google. Google states that font requests are not used for profiling. See Google's privacy policy.

Third-party links

Our pages may link to social platforms (for example a Facebook share link). Their privacy practices are governed by their own policies.

Your rights

You may request access to, correction of, or deletion of any personal data we hold (in practice, at most an email you have sent us) at any time via hello@princessglow.org. Depending on where you live, you may also have the right to complain to your local data-protection authority.

Children

Our content is intended for adults. We do not knowingly collect personal information from children under 16.

Changes

We will update this page whenever our actual data practices change — before the change takes effect, not after.
