Green Tea Back Mist
A light cooling mist for the skin you can't reach — green tea and witch hazel refresh, mint cools after sunny days.

You will need
- 1/2 cup strong brewed green tea, cooled
- 2 tbsp witch hazel (alcohol-free)
- 1 tsp aloe vera gel
- 2 drops tea tree oil
The ritual
- Brew the green tea double-strength and cool it completely.
- Shake all ingredients together in a clean spray bottle.
- After every shower, mist over back and shoulders and let it air-dry before dressing.
- Shake before each use.
Why these ingredients
- 1/2 cup strong brewed green tea, cooled
- Freshly brewed and cooled, it gives a clean, refreshing base.
- 2 tbsp witch hazel (alcohol-free)
- A traditional botanical liquid with a fresh, toning feel — choose alcohol-free.
- 1 tsp aloe vera gel
- A light, water-based gel with a famously cooling, soothing feel.
- 2 drops tea tree oil
- A strong-scented essential oil — always well diluted, never near eyes.
Easy swaps
- 1/2 cup strong brewed green tea, cooled → Chamomile tea for a calmer scent.
- 2 tbsp witch hazel (alcohol-free) → Rose water for a gentler feel.
- 1 tsp aloe vera gel → Cucumber juice for a similar cool feel (shorter shelf life).
- 2 drops tea tree oil → Leave it out.
Keep it clean
Mix with freshly washed hands and clean, dry bowls and spoons. If a recipe is stored, use a jar or bottle washed in hot soapy water and dried completely, and never dip wet fingers into the batch.
Storage & when to let go
Fridge only, 7 days — tea is fresh brew, not a preservative. Make a small batch weekly.
Who should skip this one
- People who are pregnant or nursing, young children, and anyone with fragrance allergies or very reactive skin (or simply leave the essential oil out).
What to expect — honestly
Expect smoother-feeling, well-moisturised skin — with regular use, rough patches usually feel softer over a few weeks. Results vary and deeper skin changes (like pigmentation) need professional care.
Common questions
Face too?
This strength is made for body skin. For your face, our Green Tea Dew Mist is the gentler sister.
Will it clear my back breakouts?
It refreshes the skin and keeps it feeling clean — but it is not an acne treatment. Clean towels and breathable fabrics help too, and a pharmacist or dermatologist is the right stop for persistent breakouts.
