You will need

The ritual

  1. Melt cocoa butter gently over a warm water bath, then stir in almond oil and honey.
  2. Chill 20 minutes until half-set, then whip with a fork until creamy.
  3. Every night, warm a small scoop between fingers and massage from collarbone UP to jaw in slow strokes.
  4. Let it absorb 5 minutes before touching your pillow.
Glow tip ✦ The upward massage matters as much as the butter — 60 slow strokes, always bottom to top.

Why these ingredients

2 tbsp cocoa butter
A firm, richly scented butter that leaves skin feeling deeply softened.
1 tbsp almond oil
A light plant oil that softens and smooths the skin's surface.
1 tsp honey
A natural humectant — it attracts and holds moisture, so skin feels soft and supple.
2 drops vitamin E oil (optional)
An oil-soluble antioxidant that helps keep oil blends fresh a little longer.

Easy swaps

Keep it clean

Mix with freshly washed hands and clean, dry bowls and spoons. If a recipe is stored, use a jar or bottle washed in hot soapy water and dried completely, and never dip wet fingers into the batch.

Storage & when to let go

Sealed jar at room temp for 3 weeks, or fridge for 2 months. It melts above 30°C — a warm room turns it to oil (still fine to use).

Allergy check ✦ Contains tree-nut oil (almond) — swap for jojoba or olive oil if you have a nut allergy. Patch test on the inner arm first.
Patch-test first ✦ Apply a little of the finished mix to your inner arm and wait 24 hours. No reaction is a good sign, though no patch test can rule out every reaction. Never use a recipe on broken or irritated skin, keep everything out of your eyes, and stop at once if anything stings or burns.

What to expect — honestly

Expect smoother-feeling, well-moisturised skin — with regular use, rough patches usually feel softer over a few weeks. Results vary and deeper skin changes (like pigmentation) need professional care.

Common questions

Can this replace my neck cream?

It's a rich natural moisturizer — skin feels softer and looks smoother while it's well moisturised. No cream, homemade or bought, can lift or firm like a procedure.

Morning or night?

Night — cocoa butter is rich and needs time. In the morning, just sweep on what's left with an upward stroke.
