Peach Body Milk Lotion
A light, fast-absorbing body milk — sweet almond oil and glycerin wrapped in a soft peach scent, for glowing skin that isn't sticky in the heat.

You will need
- 1/4 cup aloe vera gel
- 2 tbsp sweet almond oil
- 1 tsp vegetable glycerin
- 2 tbsp fresh peach juice, strained (or 3 drops peach extract)
The ritual
- Whisk the aloe gel until loose and smooth.
- Drizzle in almond oil slowly while whisking — it turns milky and light.
- Whisk in glycerin and peach.
- Bottle it, shake before use, and smooth over damp skin after showering.
Why these ingredients
- 1/4 cup aloe vera gel
- A light, water-based gel with a famously cooling, soothing feel.
- 2 tbsp sweet almond oil
- A light plant oil that softens and smooths the skin's surface.
- 1 tsp vegetable glycerin
- A humectant that helps mists and gels hold water against the skin.
- 2 tbsp fresh peach juice, strained (or 3 drops peach extract)
- Soft, fragrant fruit flesh for creamy summer masks.
Easy swaps
- 1/4 cup aloe vera gel → Cucumber juice for a similar cool feel (shorter shelf life).
- 2 tbsp sweet almond oil → Jojoba or sunflower oil (better for nut allergies).
- 1 tsp vegetable glycerin → Optional — leave it out for a lighter feel.
- 2 tbsp fresh peach juice, strained (or 3 drops peach extract) → Ripe banana.
Keep it clean
Mix with freshly washed hands and clean, dry bowls and spoons. If a recipe is stored, use a jar or bottle washed in hot soapy water and dried completely, and never dip wet fingers into the batch.
Storage & when to let go
Fridge, 1 week (fresh peach) or 3 weeks (extract version). The cold lotion in summer is honestly the best part.
Who should skip this one
- Anyone with an allergy to the fruit involved; latex-allergic readers should be careful with avocado, banana and kiwi (known cross-reactions).
What to expect — honestly
Expect smoother-feeling, well-moisturised skin — with regular use, rough patches usually feel softer over a few weeks. Results vary and deeper skin changes (like pigmentation) need professional care.
Common questions
Why does it separate?
No commercial emulsifier — totally normal. One shake brings the milk back together.
Can I use it on my face?
It's body-strength but gentle; most skins tolerate it, though your face deserves the lighter Aloe Rose Hydrating Mist.
